Can't find the old thread.

How silly the Matt storyline is - like the Rob storyline it is OTT. No-one is as villainous as Matt is being portrayed - they have just made him a stereotype of evil and it is ridiculous. I have never met anyone who encapsulates evil to this degree.

Stop it now you crazy scriptwriters and give as some storylines that reflect real life.

Thank you for replies
. Mike Tucker - I'll have look online to see the details.

AyjayF Wed 21-Feb-18 12:48:04

Mike Tucker + his wife (can't remember her name!) have daughter called Bethany. They moved to Birmingham for better education for her

GGMK2 these are silly posts. Please just let things stay that way without getting heavy!
I'd slap Lilian for her pronunciation of daaahaaas!

Lazigirl Wed 21-Feb-18 10:23:08

You missed off "violent" too GG smile.

merlotgran Wed 21-Feb-18 10:08:55

I think you're taking phoenix's post a little too seriously, GracesGran hmm

GracesGranMK2 Wed 21-Feb-18 10:07:07

What an aggressive, and obviously faultless, lot you are. All these things go to making the character and irritating us in just the way the character would.

merlotgran Wed 21-Feb-18 10:06:50

Oh I forgot a big slap for Anisha for barging her way into Ambridge, forcing Alistair to spend shedloads of money on equine facilities then disappearing.

If her parents were frail and ill why move miles away in the first place. angry

shysal Wed 21-Feb-18 10:01:22

I am behind you in the queue phoenix! I have never slapped anyone in my life, but have so wished to!grin

merlotgran Wed 21-Feb-18 09:51:39

I'd like to add Justin for never clearing his throat but please don't do it on air.

chelseababy Wed 21-Feb-18 09:42:08

gmelon you mean Mike Tucker and his wife? Think they moved to Birmingham where the facilities/schools etc were better for their daughter

Lazigirl Wed 21-Feb-18 09:29:06

Just loved that Phoenix, you've mentioned each of my pet hates and sure there's a few more but it's too early in the morning to think! I'm behind you in the slapping queue.

gmelon Wed 21-Feb-18 01:06:17

I may be going back quite some time here but what happened to the couple who were having a downs syndrome baby?

phoenix Wed 21-Feb-18 00:24:34

Can we form a queue for giving a damn good slap to :

Will, annoying accent and having very old fashioned attitudes towards his wife

Susan, well, just the ultimate (failed) social climber, also for using the word "kiddies" and pronouncing her children's names as "Emmur" and "Christyfur"

Jenny, for blatant over use of the word "darling", too many breathy sighs and pretentious catering.

Pip, well, why not. Oh, hang on, annoying way of saying "Tobee"

Joe Grundy, for always adding people's surname to their Christian name "Hello David Archer" "Morning Susan Carter"

Ruth, mainly for saying "mebbe", but "Daayvid" should also be taken into consideration.

Jill, often sounds as if she has just been goosed, and must realise that there are only so many cakes/bowls of soup/flapjacks/pies/casseroles that she can make or people can eat before a death takes place.

GracesGranMK2 Tue 20-Feb-18 20:46:25

She may not be you or me but there are people like her. I always feel she is still living in the 70s. It would be no good if all the characters were clones of one section of society.

AyjayF Tue 20-Feb-18 20:38:46

First Jennifer is 'so upset I cleaned out both the fridges' now she is serving devilled kidneys for breakfast. Is she for real?

merlotgran Tue 20-Feb-18 19:22:31

I'm really starting to hate Pip. You wouldn't think the SWs could make her any more self-centred but, Yep! They have.

GracesGranMK2 Tue 20-Feb-18 18:50:30

He wouldn't, but it would be a different sort of pressure for Neil. I would like it to work out for him but oh, dear, Susan is going to be unbearable.

Lazigirl Tue 20-Feb-18 18:23:23

I wondered we were being prepared for Neil having some sort of illness as Susan laying it on thick about how tired, cold and illness prone he's becoming. I'm sure Justin wouldn't pay that sort of money without expecting more than 100% from Neil.

GracesGranMK2 Tue 20-Feb-18 15:22:26

Me neither and as Susan, although on cloud nine, will still be in control I am sure Neil will be more like a very well trained dog with two "tails".

shysal Tue 20-Feb-18 15:18:02

grin. Haven't heard that expression before, luckygirl!

Luckygirl Tue 20-Feb-18 14:18:47

£55k!! - Susan will be like a dog with 2 dicks!! grin

GracesGranMK2 Tue 20-Feb-18 14:16:24

I can't help it. I am so pleased Neil has been offered the job!

Luckygirl Fri 16-Feb-18 21:16:45

Aah - poor Pip!

What a worm Justin is.

merlotgran Fri 16-Feb-18 19:19:32

Well said, Ruth!

About time.

chelseababy Thu 15-Feb-18 13:08:03

Whoever he is, tonight "Philip makes a move" - wonder if it's on Kirsty?
