Me too, it’s surprising how easy it has been getting used to subtitles, though if honest we sometimes put these on if a programme is in english.

So it's worth a try then? Worth watching on catchup?

We started to watch the film on Ch 4 instead - Tom Courtenay and Charlotte Rampling - didn't manage to stay the course though.

Really enjoyed this. BBC4 at 9pm on a Saturday is usually a winner. ☺️
