Just so you know, this brilliant series from the 80's is on the BBC Scotland; don't miss it if you love black comedy, pop music and Scottish wit. A perfect series that shot Emma Thompson and Robbie Coltrane to fame.

Paddyann

Go to BBC Players; find Scotland and you will see 4 episodes to date. They show it in Scotland on a Saturday night,I think. Every word; every song is a gem.

We often quote Miss Toner's line " He's wi me am no with him " The duo of Richard Wilson and Katy Murphy was great .

This is the third time I have watched it and it never fails to make me laugh out loud. Just realised that Vincent (We all love VD!) is Job. His suffering is almost biblical.

Thank you so much for the heads up! I loved Tutti-Fruiti!
Can’t wait to start watching it again.

Loved this first time round and even more this time! Wish they would put "Taking over the asylum" on i-player - remember being really hooked on it.

Do you think I will be able to get it in the NE ?

I loved a Scottish comedy (can't remember the name for the life of me) where they all ended up having home made chips at one long suffering woman's house.... Oh crikey..... they were neighbours.... someone was in hospital.... HELP !

Anyway I was following it and it just disappeared from the players.

Oh good. I agree it was very funny. I find most sitcoms these days awful but that one made me laugh.

Beware. From tonight they are dropping off the first episode (why do they do this?).
