I watched it, I felt like slapping some of them. there were a couple of people who seemed to think that being obese did not increase the chances of type2 diabetes . Even when confronted by a gentleman who had suffered an amputation because he got gangrene as a result of neuropathy it was just scare mongering! Apparently it was 'fat shaming' to point out that being obese/fat/overweight could cause severe health issues. TBH I just wanted to tell them that they were fat and that I would like to see them in 20 years time to find out if they still felt the same way.

BTW my oldest adult child has type 1 diabetes. It is a cruel illness and can cause so many other health issues.

Some of them had that real fanatical stare. It's like a cult, like the flat earthers, we're right and the rest of the world is wrong! At least the young guy with the beard had the sense to get himself checked out.

No Babs was the kind of ordinary looking one who cried a lot.

When I say ordinary, I mean no blue hair and so on.

Saved this to watch this afternoon while DH is out.

I watched this for about ten minutes and I ended up having to turn over to watch something else. It just made me so furious especially when they ordered the takeaway for dinner.

I didn't watch it and have no intentions of doing so as the " trailer " made me feel sick.

Was Babs the one who thought that being fat was a good thing?
She was very domineering with the other ones who were obviously not happy with their size and looking for some sort of help.
I agree, what a strange programme but I’m probably going to watch it again next week.
