Just watched this and found it very heart warming, and for the first time today I’d forgotten I was hosting Christmas days lunch !!

I watched it too, really emotional.
Especially that dear little girl - was she blind? I missed the first 10 minutes or so.

The programme is on again now.
Makes me appreciate our NHS more too.

That little girl was so full of life and joy. No one could do' Bah Humbug' after seeing her!

Of you haven't watched it yet keep some tissues handy! It was brilliant. Fennel - the little girl had lost her sight due to the effects of the brain tumour but was able to read braille. It was really uplifting.

Thanksgranfromafar - I thought I saw her learning braille, then on 2nd viewing realised it must be due to her brain tumour.
The participation of the Oldies was good too - I could have joined in.
The commitment of the hospital staff was great - Gareth doesn't usually get so many male singers. And the contributions of all races and colours.

I just saw the second half but found it extremely uplifting and emotional.

What a wonderful little girl she is.

I thought the choir of people who were born or treated at the hospital singing their thank yous to the staff was wonderful too.

So glad that I caught this brilliant programme the other night, I was telling my Daughter about it yesterday and welled up again.
That little girl was so amazing.

I loved this programme. The little girl Betsy was so full of life, and I loved the young boy at the end of the performance. It had a real Christmassy feel.

Finally caught up with this last night, both of us blubbing by the end. Betsy is just the most amazing child, and the whole programme was so uplifting. Two of our grandchildren were born at Watford General, so we know what a special place it is.
