Is there thread on here which gives some guidance on cutting our own hair? Mine is short and needs attention ever six weeks ......

YouTube videos are worth watching if you really get desperate. I will rather let it just grow or use my husband’s clippers to cut it very short?

I’m letting mine grow no one is going to see me ( apart from family online) so it matters not how I look.

Just looking for the right sized pudding bowl so I can give Mr LD a trim.

I usually have mine cut every 4 weeks but won't be hacking at it myself I'd rather look like a shaggy dog.

I was due to have my short hair cut yesterday, Tuesday, it's very thick and short so needs cutting every 6 weeks. I was very hesitant about going due to the virus, but didn't want to let my hairdresser down (she is a one - woman business). Luckily the decision was taken out of my hands with Boris closing all hairdressers on Monday, not lucky for how my hair will look. However there are more worrying concerns at this time than my hair, the layers will get long and uncontrollable , look a mess, but who's going to see me? I am going nowhere except for my daily (allowed) exercise with the dog and a once a week very quick visit to the supermarket for grocery. There will be lots of us looking the same, men as well! Shame as it's not still Winter or else I'd wear a hat. I will trim my fringe myself but that's all.
