Gone with the Wind film QUESTION,I think.

Not sure if it is actually GWTW,but here goes.
I have watched the film(GWTW) all the way through and I can't locate the scene,it might not even be in the film and it might be another film.
Cowboy type western scene, male and female actors sat on a horse drawn type buggy.
Female actor says I love you
Male actor says but I love another female(in the film)
Female actor then says she does not love you,
who do you think wrote all those letters while you were away at the front?It was me.
Any help most wellcome,thanking you in advance.

Not GWTW film - I know because I’ve read the book a dozen times and it’s not a scene or dialogue that I recognise.

One of the provisos that Margaret Mitchell made on selling the rights was that the filmmakers had to stay true to the book - they were allowed to drop events/incidents but not to add anything.

No, huge GWTW fan, I feel I could go on Mastermind with it, (not really) and definitely not it.

Sounds more like a John Wayne film.
