RIP Spencer Davis

Keep On Running and Gimmee some Lovin. Two great songs from the 60s Spencer Davis died in hospital aged 81 on 19th. Can't believe he was that old. Loved his music.

He was very popular for a couple of years, brings fond memories of college days and discos I can see them now on Top of the Pops. Sixties records are the best although the quality compared to modern was pretty poor, but that was the technology of the time.

They were lbc1955 great clothes, great music and great atmosphere.

Aah bless...yes, love the 60's music...often hear his songs on Tony's Blackburns 'sounds of the sixties ' .
