It’s Danish - lead character teaches in junior school and is a bit unconventional even by Danish standards. It has laugh out loud moments and some quite touching ones. I’ve just started the second series.

I've not seen this one so I shall have to have a look. I've watched Home for Christmas and Bonus Family which are both Netflix Scandi comedy/drama series. Makes a change from the Scandi Noir I've been watching recently!
