Centenary of the Unknown Warrior

I was at the service - I was the person from the RNRMWA. It was such an honour and a privilege to be there. It was a really moving service and I'm glad that that came across in the TV coverage. I could see nothing of what was happening at the west end as I was beside the pillar by the pulpit so I'll have to watch it to see what went on.

I didn’t see it...but the thought makes me well up?. Sounds as if it was very moving. It reminded me of Bible passages where Jesus talks about the unknown people at the back being first into Heaven.

I watched it. It was very moving, in fact I was in tears. The choir, the poem by the Poet Laureate and the letter by the WW1 widow who was convinced the Unknown Warrior was her husband - si very poignant. I won’t comment on those present which I am sure someone will ?. It wasn't about them. It was about remembrance
