Netflix and Amazon Prime -sorry to say but its true

There are going to be three new short episodes from the vicar too. 10 minute Zoom sermons.

I agree, Netflix and amazon prime....

I love the Vicar of Dibley so it will cheer me up.

the one where Geraldine Grainger jumps in the puddle
the one where Alice Tinkers head dress lights up at the altar
the one where all the animals come to church
and
all the little jokes at the end
BUT
love the variety on Netflix as and when

..AND love the Christmas episode where she has to eat all those Christmas dinners!

I like that one Humptydumpty. I end up feeling full for her

that last sprout!

Another Vicar of Dibley fan here, far better than many of the newer sitcoms!

Am I the only person who thinks the The Vicar of Dibley is a load of rubbish? I’d rather watch paint dry!

OMG no excuse now not to do some cleaning

I never found it remotely funny. We've all got different tastes. My DH loves it.

It was very popular with our audiences at The Little Theatre in Torquay last summer when we performed to full houses for two weeks. DH and I played the Teletubbies and enjoyed a great response from the patrons.

I love it too, Dawn French exactly right as a caring vicar with faults!

Sad that ‘Alice’ Emma Chambers died not long ago.

I can think of worse programmes.

Love the Vicar of Dibley. All the characters are so well cast - can't think of one bad thing about it.

With Sky and Netflix one is spoiled for choice

But I do miss darting down to my local newsagent to pick up the oh so heavy Radio and TV Times

We'd sit down in the living room and tick off what we were wanting to watch

We watched an episode last night and although we'd seen it before we still laughed all the way through it - it was the one were "Songs of Praise" is filmed in the church

I don’t mind the Vicar if Dibley but it is a bit old and I m sure we ve seen it all many times
Not everyone can afford Netflix and Prime it is time there were at least some good shows to watch on ordinary TV which we do pay a chunk of money for the license fee I realise there is more difficulties with CoviD but heck it’s really dire I scrape round the programmes at night finding sweet FA

The vicar of dibley has the great merit of having marvellous actors in it! I don’t split my side watching it but it is well written and funny. There was one where the young girl had to read the lesson from the old fashioned bible and nearly mispronounced the word “succour”?
Ones I can’t abide are mrs browns boys, anything with Tracey ullman or Mel and sue. I love the old Yes Minister and more recently W1A.
