PollyDolly, if your major concern about accuracy in this series of the Crown is the lack of fish knives and Diana crossing her legs, I'd relax.
It's a fictionalised drama based loosely on our national history, told through the RF. It's great tv for lock down but suspend belief. Enjoy the scenery, the dogs, the horses, the clothes and the clipped accents in The Crine. Don't expect a true reflection of history and all will be well.
Just to add, I find it helpful to watch with sympathy for the RF. What a job the key members have from cradle to grave. All their mistakes captured on film or in the memories of a "source close to the RF" who is willing to sell their soul for a bit of cash or publicity.
My natural sympathy was for the 19 year old whose dreams fell apart. Doesn't mean I don't feel for every one involved in that drama.
