Just found all 7 series (76 episodes) are on BBC I player.
Watched one series a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it.
My Tier 4 viewing sorted for a few weeks. ??

Oh, love Spiral, wonder if there's a new series available?

MayBee70 Tue 22-Dec-20 23:09:10

It’s starting after Christmas. Last series it says.

There is an eighth series. It is on this weekend. We love it.

I'm watching it again from the beginning. Almost at the end of series 2. Looking forward to the new series! I'm a big Gilou fan.

Magnifique!
Is it on BBC4?

GrandmasueUK Wed 23-Dec-20 05:15:34

Yes. It is on BBC4. Starts on 2nd January. I'm going to have to rewatch the least series now. grin

I love Spiral and managed to get hold of all the earlier ones we hadn't seen a while ago. I think the first one was made in 2005 so it's quite interesting to see how the characters age when you start at the beginning.

We are starting with series 1. We have seen some of the later series but can’t remember which ones. Will work our way through from the beginning. As said above series 1 was made in 2005 and it does look a bit dated but still well worth watching. So glad to have something we enjoy watching to settle down with on these dark winter nights.

Oh I loved Spiral! I'm crafting at the moment though and it is difficult to do things AND watch TV (keeping my hands busy stops my mouth from being too busy!).

BlueBelle Wed 23-Dec-20 07:59:16

I ve never seen this is it a murder mystery?
Can you catch up with it without watching 76 hours don’t think I could do that

Have started with series 1 after watching a later series a while ago. They all look so young! Well worth watching.

GagaJo Wed 23-Dec-20 08:10:49

I see it as a police series. I love the realistic, rough around the edges characters.

kircubbin2000 Wed 23-Dec-20 08:24:32

It's better to watch from the start. I hadn't seen the early meeting with Bremont. It explains a lot of what happens later. Gilou is my secret crush.

Parsley3 Wed 23-Dec-20 09:39:09

Oh Gilou, he is so naughty.

Spiral is my absolute fave! A bit sad that the last season will not have Juge Roban, whom I adore. We have all the series on DVD. The other one I like is Harrow, based in Australia, which stars the dishy Ioan Gruffyd. You can that first on Alibi and then on ITV3(?). The last series was fantastic.
