I enjoyed this film. It's great to see older actors- Glen Close and Jonathan Pryce and they depicted the older married couple really well. The story was interesting although I thought it became obvious what was going on quite early in the film. Worth watching.

I loved this film, saw it when it was on at the cinema.
I thought it was obvious but DH didn't see it coming at all! I think that might be because some women could imagine such a thing and some men can't believe that would happen.
Excellent acting, I thought.

You're welcome ilovecheese Enjoy! I loved it. No experience because I'm on my own but I thought as a couple they seemed very realistic. Interesting about your DH Alegrias1.

We cam upon this by accident and enjoyed it. The plot soon became obvious but the acting was still very good.

Watched it on Saturday night. Thought the character Jonathan Pryce played was awful, what a selfish, conceited so and so.

Thought the ending was very fitting, but had assumed that was what would happen.

I watched this some time ago and thought it was very good. There is also a good film on Amazon Prime - ‘Hope Gap’ starring Bill Nighy and Annette Bening about the disintegration of the marriage of an elderly couple and its effect on their adult son.

It’s on Netflix too. Enjoyed it, Especially the references to poetry.
