Naked Attraction. I think it’s a dreadful programme. I am a bit of a prude, i’ll admit it, but I just find it a very weird idea for a programme and the way the camera hones in on the private parts .....?!! Also the way these private parts are scrutinised and commented upon - I find it all so distasteful. I haven’t thought of the shaving as wanting to appear childlike or anything to do with paedophilia, but see it as a fad/fashion and with a woman, it often means that even more of the vaginal area is on view once the hair is removed (the labia, I mean). I do feel like Mary Whitehouse when I have watched it, shaking my head in disgust! Of course I don’t have to watch it - I just feel compelled to do so if I channel hop and it’s on. Perhaps I like being disgusted from time to time as I can’t believe what i’m seeing!

I don’t really see the point of it, as the few times I’ve seen it,they don’t go on to have a relationship, so don’t see each other naked again anyway!

Oh missfoodlove I did laugh! I watched it because a tenant of ours was on it, I bet you now see them in a different light??yes, I just think it’s degrading! And I’m far from a prude, why on earth would you want to show all and sundry your bits, obviously for the shock factor to a degree and the things they say is cringeworthy! I've seen the presenter, Anna Richardson, on Super size Super skinny and other programmes not related to sex.

I might be in a minority of one in that while I'm not a major fan of the show, I dont really mind it.

One good thing about it, I think, is that it shows the human body in all of its different shapes and imperfections. A reality check really to the world of imstagram perfection.

I'm with some other posters though on not liking, what seems nowadays, to be the obligatory shaved look. Something definately creepy about that one.

I often wonder if the choice, be it male or female, lives up to expectations. {grin}

I’ve caught bits if this programme. I think it’s seedy and sends out the wrong message. Are people really only interested in the sexual element of a partner.
The woman who presents it seems to only do that sort if programme. I’ve seen her before and immediately switch channels as I can guess what’s coming.

Believe it or not Septima their are people who are employed to wax the bits you can’t get to. For men it is called Back sack and crack, women get a Brazilian.

How on earth do you remove the hair from the more 'intricate' bits without doing yourself an injury? Or maybe I'm just abnormal.

The paradox is that there are so many paedophilia conspiracy theories around and yet there seems to be a fashion for sexually active adults to look like children.

The whole programme is fundamentally flawed because in a normal relationship you are attracted by so many things before you ever get to nudity. Intelligence and creativity have always been most important to me and if anyone had introduced me to a naked man when I was a teenager I would probably have been put off sex for life. The boys I met when I was young were far too excited at the thought of getting you undressed to care what any of your bits looked like.

Saw the clip on Gogglebox I think people will do anything for attention. Too busy worrying about the hairs on my chin never mind anywhere else.

I did like the feeling of no hair, after I was shaved for childbirth.
I didn't keep up doing it, tho. I imagine it would be a real nuisance to do.

Glad it’s not just me! I also caught a bit of this by accident last night as did OH whose reponse was ‘What the........!**?’. It was a genuine shock. Nothing to do with being prudish but is this really what our world has come to? I have queried (on GN)this no-pubic hair business before ... not just incomprehensible but also worrying. Why do some women want to look like children? The links to paedophilia surely cannot be ignored.
How this programme is still on is beyond me, Thank God that one featuring people having sex in a large box has gone, hopefully for good.

overthehill you may be interested to know that on a recent episode of Natural History Museum the 'bug expert' was showing hair lice and pubic lice, she said that pubic lice were in decline due to 'deforestation'

Its a vile programme. I'm not a prude, I've lived a life but I do worry "what the world is coming to" that we need this rubbish to keep us entertained. It's toe curling rubbish.

I watched it once because a tenant of ours was on.
I was appalled.
Our daughter watched it with me, she was equally appalled.
