The Masked Singer

Right, I’m all ready for the big final tonight. My best guesses are; Sausage, still going with Sheridan Smith. Badger, Carl Fogarty. Robin, Taron Egerton.
Probably wrong on all three.

Sorry, Viking, not Dragon. He probably thought Dragon was me, what with the fabulous voice and all.

Before the reveal, DGS3 (3yo) made us laugh when he said he definitely knew who Dragon was. His Grandma Sue apparently.

I’ve had Stacey Dooley down for Sausage for ages, but yes, I am wondering if she could really have such a fabulous voice (though hey, Sue was a revelation!). DH thinks Anastasia for Sausage, but I can’t remember why. Aled Jones for Robin?

I don't know why I watch this. I can't guess who any of them are, I don't know most of the people the panel guess and when they take their mask off I still haven't heard of half of them!!!
But it's addictive!

I am surprised that Jane Horrocks is not singing - she could sound like anyone she liked!

I think that sausage is Stacey Solomon.

I have no idea about Robin or Badger.

The problem that I have with the Masked Singer is my complete ignorance about many of the people whose names are guessed. I don’t listen to music on a regular basis and I don’t watch sport or most reality shows, so even when the panel say a name I’m stumped.

However, I do like a good whodunnit and I enjoy research, so when I thought I recognised a voice AND the initial clues fitted I got quite excited.

I think Badger is James Blunt and I can find a link for every clue.

What I do find surprising is that I suspect I will actually be disappointed if it’s not - I like his music and he’s one of a very few modern artists whose music I have bought.

It is just fun isn’t it? Lenny Henry could sing too, and Glen Hoddle? Who knew!

First time I had seen this programme and was surprised that I enjoyed it. No idea who any of them were / are but some great voices.
Who knew Sue Perkins could sing so well ?

Oh Granmajet you are right, he is from Grimsby. I'm daft!!! Think they live in Wales now, I think..... ah well next week we will be put out of our misery

Having seen Sue Perkins, I realise they could be anyone. Still convinced about Sheridan Smith, all that pink from Legally Blonde. Surely Stacey Dooley hasn't got a belting voice, it so she's in the wrong profession.

I really hope Robin wins....

She is. She played Smithy’s sister in Gavin and Stacey years ago. Brilliant singer too.

Sheridan Smith played Cilla in the biopic. She’s done quite a lot of stage musicals including Legally Blonde.

Alexandra Burke for Sausage, they have referred to Blackpool and she got there in Strictly.

I did think Sausage was Stacy Solomon but cannot get a Blackpool connection ?
