I like the noir series from the Scandinavian countries. Can anyone suggest a few please? I've just finished rita which I thought was great. Have also watched the bridge and I do like a dark comedy. Many thanks

The Valhalla Murders is very good, set in Iceland, not on Netflix but on BBC iPlayer.

The Twelve is good, it's from Belgium, also from Walter Presents. A bit different but really good.

Rebecka Martinsson series 1. They changed the lead actress in the second series.

Thank you, I will search for the ones suggested and give them a try. I expect I will like them if they are in the same frame

A very enjoyable Scandi series was Home for Christmas. It doesn't have to be Christmas time to watch it. It's amusing and slightly raunchy at times. It can be watched with sub-titles or well dubbed into English.

We enjoyed Valhalla too!

annodomini I really enjoyed Home for Christmas, especially the speed dating and the naked sauna ?
Guilt from channel 4 is a dark comedy. Only 4 episodes though.

Fallet is also a dark comedy on Netflix

Bordertown, set in Finland was excellent.
You must have watched The Bridge and the Valhalla Murders. There are others but I can’t remember what they are called at the moment.
Getting away from the Scandi theme if you enjoyed Rita you’ll love Offspring.

Call My Agent is a good one to watch after Rita.
