I am so happy. On the Antiques Roadshow tonight, there was a couple who brought in a tandem bike with side-car. My parents had one when I was a toddler, and took me on holiday, from Hounslow to Runnymede. Not far, but then money was tight and they probably could only afford a short break.
I have very vague memories of this holiday, but it was so lovely to see the mode of transport.
