I read that Sheila Hancock actually climbed that mountain which is awesome at any age. I wasn't impressed with the story arc but I like any film where older women are the star. However I absolutely agree with you about the falseness of being lost in the Scottish Highlands and coming across a place to rest up safely. Too many people lose their lives in the hills.

Yes, I agree.... it was implausible as it went along, but I kind of enjoyed it, and felt huge respect for Sheila Hancock in filming it, she must be super fit in her 80's. And, yes, the scenery!

I started watching this with pleasure. A film about a feisty older woman-hurrah!!! But as it progressed I became more and more dissatisfied and in the end I thought it was stupid and far fetched. Sheila Hancock was remarkable as Edie. But was having her find a pleasant fire-lit ruin when she was rainsoaked and lost on the side of a mountain really acceptable? People die on mountains. The scenery was lovely mnd.
