Empire Falls - Now TV/Sky Atlantic

I watched this mini series when I had a week’s free trial of Now TV. It’s a story of life in a small town in the USA with no complicated story lines, no swearing and very little violence. The main character is played by Ed Harris, his father is played by Paul Newman and the rich woman who employs him to run one of her businesses in the town is played by Joanne Woodward. His ex wife is played by Helen Hunt and a late love interest of his late mother is played by Philip Seymour Hoffman. There are other interesting characters in the cast, young and old. I thoroughly enjoyed this and was sad when it came to an end.
