I think Jimmy McGovern has done some great stuff. He did the drama about the priest, who was played by Sean Bean. I thought it was really moving.

I saw the first episode of the Moving On series - the one about the man getting married and his long lost father turning up for the wedding. I thought it was rather corny, which was a disappointment. But I'm still going to watch the other ones.

Unmissable.
I cried at the story of the young girl from a family in dire straits who was determined to do her A - Levels .
Recommend it to everyone .

I've been watching too. Some of the afternoon dramas feel like the only things worth watching atm.

In my opinion you can't go wrong with anything Jimmy McGovern is involved in. He doesn't write the stories for Moving On but you can tell he has a hand in it. It's just the sort of afternoon programme we need at the moment. It seems there will be a new Jimmy McGovern drama coming soon staring Sean Bean called Time, can't wait, I'm sure it will be excellent

I watched it for the first time today, Friday. It touched on and highlighted the struggles and prejudice some deaf people have to deal with. I was so pleased that although it was clearly a "fairy tale" with a happy ending, at last, the challenges deaf people face has been unearthed and focussed on on mainstream daytime TV.

We have recorded this series and look forward to watching them. We have watched previous dramas by Jimmy McGovern and found them as Lisagran says thought provoking.

I’ve recorded them and I watched two last night. Because they’re quite short dramas, they can seem a bit trite - but often they’re quite thought provoking.

I really enjoy the Moving On series as well Redhead I am catching up with this new series now. They are better than some of the rubbish on prime time TV.

On the BBC noticed a new series is being aired and delighted one episode location is our favourite rugby club. It’s a series about everyday situations well written and played out by wonderful actors.
