I do check fairly regularly to see whether Dr Sarah Jarvis is on, I appreciate the calm way she discusses all things medical, particularly when COVID related.

I liked Penny Smith too. She is a good presenter with a good, but low key, sense of humour and she doesn't seem to take herself too seriously either, which is quite refreshing.

I always feel JV is some sort of frustrated actor/artist and certainly not suited to visual presenting. He is so dependant on gimmickry. However, I feel his saving grace is that he seems to be basically very kind. My favourite presenter of this show was Penny Smith (where has she gone?) closely followed by Anne Diamond. Find the current 'regular' guests as predictable and somewhat dull.

I listen to radio 2 in the mornings because I like to listen to Ken Bruce, but Jeremy Vine, where do I start!

He's the epitome of annoying, and I'm waiting for him to do a segment entitled 'if you're hit by a car, how likely are you to die from coronavirus,' because he's linked everything he can think of to this pandemic and now he's just clutching at straws with it.

When Vanessa Feltz takes over its unbearable, she just sings everything in that whiney voice of hers.

Spiders are natural predators of flies. Pet dogs are not part of the ecosystem and should not be allowed on that beach, even on a lead.

I find Jeremy Vine extremely smug and irritating - and not half as clever as he thinks he is.

On the other hand, I think Storm is a good presenter who seems to be able to calmly cope with most eventualities.

The report of the seal being savaged by a dog was very sad - and horrible to see the photo of the poor seal being tended by passers-by. I see it as just an unfortunate event that I am sure the dog's owner is very upset about.

Why is a bird being savaged by a cat and a seal being savaged by a dog not comparable? They are both living things - and unfortunately cats do not kill their prey quickly. It is not nice but it's just instinct isn't it.

Another who prefers Ann Diamond. Jeremy very annoying worse than Matthew Wright.

Storms’s comment was IMO a bit silly & flippant.

I find him annoying too. He is obsessed with not being a 'boomer' and constantly divides people into age categories, as though everyone in an age group thinks alike.

I think his leaping about 'demonstrating' things with ridiculous props is embarrassing. I'm another Storm fan - she is much more professional, and comes across as more mature than he is.

I like it better when Ann Diamond presents the show.

Turn radio 2 to 1 each day at noon, cant stand him.

She pointed out that animals don't work within laws in the way (most) humans do, and that it is Nature's way for them to attack one another. She was putting it into perspective by saying that people don't get upset about spiders killing flies, or cats bringing in birds (both just Nature's way), and she is right.

Where do you disagree with her? I don't think for a minute that she was saying that the seal incident was anything but upsetting - just that the dog wasn't guilty of 'murder', as animals don't think that way.
