I was at school when all the hoo-hah about Lady Chattersley's Lover happened. I was old enough to realise what the fuss was about but not old enough to want to read it!
Fast forward to nowadays and, looking for something to watch on NetFlix I saw it was on their list of films......so I thought I will see what all the fuss was about. Much to my surprise it is a beautiful - but sad - film which I thoroughly enjoyed. Yes there are scenes that got the original book banned, but nothing to be shocked at. Give it a try if you can - you won't regret it.
