It’s sad that when you want to provide factual information that not all pregnancies a woman has are identical, you have to preface that with a denial you are supporting MM. ?

I wondered if he'd mention the furore about his comment on Friday but nothing was said.

Anyway, I'm another who dislikes JV. I don't listen to him on the radio, but sometimes see his TV show, and he is totally out of touch on there, too. He was suggesting the other day that people should tip hairdressers 25% because they have been on furlough, without realising that most people don't get paid the £750k a year that he does, and that many others have been on furlough too, so adding 25% to what is often an expensive appointment is not about being mean, but just not a realistic possibility.

What I really dislike about him is the way he is always going on about 'boomers', and pointing out that he is not one. He is about 5 years too young, and the 'boomer' age band covers 20 years, so there will be more differences within that group than between the younger end and people of his age - assuming that people of the same age all think alike anyway, which a quick glance at GN would show is not the case. Most of his viewers are probably 'boomers', anyway.

The brain surgeon Henry Marsh was on his show the other day and and Jeremy was way out of his depth but he kept trying to pose intelligent questions only showing what an idiot he actually is. Yes, I agree he is a twat.

He has an over inflated sense of his own importance, is overpaid, speaks down to people and is well past his sell by date. In case that’s not clear, I don’t like him!

I don't think he tries to be "woke" (hate that word!). I think he tries to be one of the common people. I used to think he wasn't very bright, but now I think he is but he plays dumb to make out he's just one of us. That's worse! Can't bear him.

If he so concerned about representation of minorities I wonder if he would be prepared to give up his space on the BBC gravy train to a younger black person - I'm sure it would be easy to find someone more intelligent and less self opinionated
