Soap operas

I don't watch any soap operas on tv or listen to the Archers but I wondered whether they have covid in Ambridge, Coronation Street , Albert Square or wherever the others are supposed to live. If so has it complicated the plots?

If not does it not seem odd that our lives have been changed so much but not the lives of these characters?

I watch Emmerdale and Corrie. Covid evident in both. Actors use masks but not appropriately. They wear them outdoors then remove them to go indoors into shop/pub/hospital. Presumably so they can speak clearly.

Some scenes are shot in a way that makes socially distanced actors appear to be standing closer together.

I’ve watched Neighbours since it started, I don’t watch any others.

I only watch Neighbours, Home and Away and Eastenders. No real evidence of Covid in any of them.
