In the last few months, I have a re/watched a lot of TV series (lockdown). Keep the Homefires Burning, Handmaid's Tale, Duchess of Duke Street, South Riding, Doc Martin, Nip Tuck.

But I have run out. Any suggestions?

I don't like usually like American stuff. Tried House, because of Hugh Laurie but thought it was too shmaltzy.

Don't f* with Cats is brilliant (Netflix) It's an award winning documentary 3 parter. A very sinister story but very watchable I watched all three in one night.

I have been trawling BBC i player. Go to catagories then to 'from the archive'. There are all sorts on there to re discover from years gone by. Old series, old documentaries etc. Its been facinating

Dalziel and Pascoe on iplayer. I love the books too and we've also got the DVDs. My Yorkshire Farm is lovely and she's also written books which I had read 2 of before I watched the programme. It's just such a lovely natural family who help on the farm and help each other out. The whole family is brilliant.

I'm watching Silent Witness. I haven't gone back 23 series. But I'm enjoying the series 21 so far. I really like forensic science things.

Call My Agent. And Shtisel on Netflix - absolutely brilliant non violent, three series. I put off watching it, thought I wouldn’t relate, despite being gripped by Unorthodox, but now I am stunned by it.

I found ‘A horseman Riding By’, an old TV Series about a chap coming back from the Boar War to run a West Country Estate, based on a book by RF Delderfield, at the start of the first lockdown. Kept me going for well over a week

On Channel 4 catchup a selection of dramas under the header of Walter Presents - fabulous French subtitled drama series, wonderful scenery, very compelling...Danger on the Lake, Death on the Lake and lots more

If you can do blood and guts…..Peaky blinders.
I’m on a mission to find the outlander series having read the books years ago when they were called Cross-stitch.

We were late to the party but loved Cardinal, which I believe you can still get on iPlayer. It’s set in Canada and is a detective story based on novels of the same name.

I’ve also been a fan of Keeping Faith but am enjoying Kate Winslet just now in Mare of Easttown. Think it’s on Sky and she really plays the part well. A far cry from Titanic.
