The Hotel Inspector channel five

This pair are very amenable, doing everything asked of them

Very tricky for Alex having to deal with their personal presentation and hygiene. The wife really doesn't seem to be very suited to a hospitality job.
As always, a great programme to watch.

Alex is great as saying it just how it is!

I hope these types of businesses have a good season and survive.

I laughed when Alex said " she needs more support in the thorax area"

Let's hope the hospitality industry can get back on track but I think there will be a lot of casualties.

I was amazed that last night's couple hadn't worked out where they were going wrong!

I was so shocked at their appearance.
They really had no idea.
They are not cut out for the hospitality industry.

Better watch out or we will be chastised for discussing appearances a la Jill Biden.

They did look a bit of a mess when she first met them but, to their credit, they made a lot of effort in improving their appearance and in tidying up their pub/B&B.

I hope they managed to maintain the improvements and to make a go of their business.

My husband said, what does she mean, their appearance?? and I said, did you not even notice she wasn't wearing a bra? apparently he hadn't - so that's a first

I thought they'd done well too the pub and rooms looked nice and the villagers seemed supportive of them too

They must have been a bit whiffy too judging by her having to tell them to shower. He was wearing the same T shirt 2 days running despite being lashing with sweat. I don't think I'd have been rushing there. Hope they can maintain the new standard.

Did you see last nights second episode? Can't remember the exact reply that the young general manager gave Alex when she asked if the three of them were always there but I raised an eyebrow. He would probably have called it 'banter' but in my eyes he was plain bad-mannered.

Sometimes you wonder why businesses invite her when they don’t want to do anything she says. Fortunately Alex can more than hold her own. Last week they really took everything on board. I missed last night’s episode unfortunately.

He was a jumped up little twerp full of his own importance. It wasn't so much what he said, although stupid, it was the way he said it to Alex. Something like it worked to have more members of staff behind the bar just in case more customers ever came out of nowhere. I love the way she raises her eyebrow and goes off to fume!

I’d like to see all the businesses in this series, be followed up by Alex in another year’s time as the interruptions to trading due to the 2 lockdowns will be so hard for them to weather when they were struggling to begin with.

I find Alex's favourite ending of arranging a 'corporate' event a little contrived and unreal.

Well she's got the contacts. Might as well use them to give the businesses a kick start.

I just watched the second episode and I thought Sarah did amazingly well I do hope it all works out for her
