The Matt Hancock business made me think of this - brilliant mini-series with Juliet Stevenson and Trevor Eve.
It’s on Freeview, channel 4 catch up if anybody is interested.
We just watched episode one - strong stuff. It was first shown in 1995 but has IMO worn extremely well.
