KATHY BURKE ..MONEY MONEY

I love Kathy Burke. She always comes across as an authentic caring pragmatic warm person. Sweary but not in an aggressive way. I think she’s be a great friend you could have a lsugh with.

She repulses me .....what can I say? It’s my opinion, shall we pretend that we all like someone when we don’t? There are a few people on tv that I can’t watch at all, so I don’t.

I watched the show and found Kathy warm, intelligent and full of empathy.

I think she is embarrassed to be as rich as she is (actor, theatre producer etc) She uses bad language to try to bring herself down to the people she mixes with. Harry Enfield appeared to be uncomfortable about talking about money. I think she is funny though,but wish she just accepted her money and enjoyed it.

I loved it when the Tik Tok lad said "Am I allowed to swear?" and she said "You're talking to ME!"

I hare the f word even though it is becoming common usage.
However I agree with Kathy Burke’s philosophy about money,
Why crave more than you need or can spend.
I have enough to live a decent life, I don’t need to stay in 5 star hotels several times a year, I actually don’t have one holiday a year but I am content.
I have a roof, a good roof , over my head, I am warm enough and enjoy good food.
Many are far worse off than me.
Why would I need more?
Kathy Burke is a realist, we need more of her sort.

Love Kathy Burke - was a big fan of Gimme Gimme Gimme. I’ve recorded the programme but haven’t got round to watching it yet. Looking forward to it.

I love Kathy Burke, she made me laugh in the programme, she can get away with saying things that others cant. Id love to watch repeats of Gimme Gimme Gimme, where are these on please, can anybody tell me.

I love Kathy too, my ex taught me a lot about swearing, he never swore but would say, 'you lazy, selfish whore...' etc. it was so offensive, yet you listen to billy connolly or Kathy B & they swear all the time yet its not offensive. I love hearing the F word etc more often cos it really doesn't matter. I loved it when she said she calls boris a c**t and her followers go up!!! The more people that recognise the damage done to society by the Tories the better

Are not tik tok videos just the follow on from story tellers, actors on stage, talkies, films …. The whole of history there have been people who want to be in the spotlight

I feel that Kathy has great empathy for people as she had a difficult childhood herself.

SueSocks : I did laugh when she used the C word she sounded so funny. It is a sort of forbidden word for me probably because I had a mother that never swore that is nice but it didn't give me any foundation of how swearing went on in the world. Of course now I have been on occasions let out a few F words although life is quite peaceful so mainly I don't.
I liked the meeting she had with the young ones that were doing the tic-toc videos and her insistence she needed a cup of tea was just her classic down to earth personality.
I too am not a follower of these tic-toc videos and so do not know much about them, but it seems they were very lucrative to those young people involved with them.

Having a bit of money created security for me, I was a single parent and sometimes couldn’t afford to replace a light bulb, I suppose we are all different.

Oh I loved Gimme Gimme Gimme. I'll have to watch this new programme as I think she's great and just says it how it is.

We watched this and her previous one about the beauty industry , I have a laugh every time I hear the record " sexual healing " which was Wayne and Waynette song. I always liked her in her previous work but even more so now as she is straight with people and you feel if you met her you would get on .
