Watched it on Netflix last night. I really enjoyed it and it has a good ending.
At over 90 Eastwood not only starred in the film but produced and directed it too.

Thanks for the recommendation. Will put it on my 'to watch' list. Only recently got Netflix and have just finished watching Queen's Gambit which I loved.

I enjoyed Queen’s Gambit too.
There is an Australian series you might like called Offspring which I can recommend.

Watched this the other night Espee and absolutely loved it!
It is a fairly new release on Netflix and seemingly it is based on a true story.
I really like Clint Eastwood he’s a great actor.

I dont know if its on Netflix anymore but I watched The Dress Maker with Kate Winslet, it was a lovely film. The book was good too.

My daughter and I watched The Mule last week and loved it. I’ve always liked Clint Eastwood what a career he’s had from his Rowdy Yates days in Rawhide and here he is 70 odd years later still going strong.

tanith that’s just reminded me that Paula Yates had a cat called Rowdy. I thought that was really funny. I used to love Paula.
DH is a massive Clint fan. I find his films unbearably depressing. In fact Seven Mules for Sister Sarah was showing in Cornforth Mansion only yesterday.
Shirley MacClaine (another fave) was wearing the most lavish fake eyelashes for a nun in the desert!

Just realised the mule link!

I watched this with OH last night and we both enjoyed it immensely. Clint Eastwood is incredible to be acting, directing and producing films at his age. Love him!

The Dressmaker *Rosycheeks’
Watched that only to see the delicious Liam Hemsworth in all his glory. ?

He is certainly looking his age these days, a far cry from his Rawhide days but it comes to all of us eventually, plenty of other aging actors around too.

I'm a huge Clint Eastwood fan, particularly as a director and can highly recommend Richard Jewell....a wonderful film!
