So, fellow fans, what do we think of the lineup? A very mixed bunch, personally only know of five, I’m sure we will soon have our favourites. Can’t wait for the glitz and glamour to brighten the long dark nights looming?

My votes went to AJ and Kai. Stupendous.

Not having watched much of Strictly, I didn't realise that John was not the professional..
I realise afterwards that he's John from Bakeoff.
The marking is certainly very odd - - Sparklefizz and yes that could be the reason. Anton to is getting a bit wild isn't he. There could never be another Bruno--I quite miss his silliness. I couldn't always tell if he was faking the falling off the chair thing as it always seemed so spontaneous.
Tilly's bra did have a life of its own Grandmabatty!
Grandmabatty of course we weren’t peaking. We were peeking!
Autocorrect ☹️
But I think Dan has definitely peaked and it’s time for him to go.
It's about time Dan appeared in the dance-off. He should have been in it weeks ago. I predict he will dance off against Tilly. I do hope Rhys isn't in it again. He was really emotional tonight.
I think Dan will be next to go. I felt AJ by far the best. The standard not so good this week though. Argentine Tango technically good but it didn’t do it for me tonight.
Anyone else recognise some of AJ’s moves from Cyd Charisse’s dance in Singing in the Rain. She even had on the green dress.
Tilley and Dan for the dance off
I’m beginning to find Anton irritating too sparklefizz. Loved AJ and John. Thought Dan’s partner did most of the dancing whilst he seemed to just stand there. Judges marks were odd tonight. I think I prefer Cynthia to Motsi less gushing and more constructive comments. Great to see Craig back.
I have just read online about all the additional promotion that the BBC have given Dan, with an appearance on The One Show, amongst other places, and he gives himself multiple plugs on BBC Breakfast. It's not fair.
Plus plenty of complaints online about the crazy marking by the judges.
I too am finding Anton irritating. Find the marking getting erratic. Last night was for me the least enjoyable, all the others very good.,Love Tills exuberance and sunny nature she’s a tonic. Dan is wooden he needs to go , Rhys is a good dancer but it’s all too frantic for me. Rose always brilliant.
SURELY Dan must be in the dance off tonight, for goodness sake! How has he survived so far?! Nice chap, but not the best dancer. I thought the dance demanded very little of him last night. He was totally overshadowed by Nadia who was doing plenty of sexy dancing around him and my eyes were diverted to her most of the time. Dan didn’t actually have to dance much. Strictly should be based on dancing ability not personality - but I know that’s not always the case, of course.
I wasn’t keen on Rose’s dance at all, it didn’t suit her - mangling one of my favourite songs didn’t help. AJ was excellent, as was John. I think any of the other three could potentially go tonight - although it should be Dan.
I am getting very tired of the increasingly loud barracking every time Craig makes a critical, but sound judgement.
Dan needs to go, although Nadiya was mesmerising; Tilly should too and I am sick of her father's prowling presence.
Johannes continues to outshine John as they do too many identical moves; I am beginning to wonder why he isn't in a ballet company, or possibly the folies-bergère; he is a solo dancer, not a partner.
Rose's dance wasn't her best, regrettably, too much stomping.
Apart from all that, I enjoyed it!
Eazybee you are right about johan, he is a soloist ,
I am getting very tired of the increasingly loud barracking every time Craig makes a critical, but sound judgement.
And as there's hardly any audience, much of it must be coming from fellow dancers!
Dan has led a charmed life for the last few weeks- never being in a dance-off because his supporters have kept him in. It should be between Dan and Tilly tonight and Dan should go but I feel that Rhys may be dancing again.
Could somebody tell me where he works please as I have never heard of him before.
I think the final will consist of Aj and Kai, Rose and Giovanni and John and Johannes.
I thought Cynthia's marking was odd, a lot lower than last week. I agree, Craig's criticism was constructive. Nice to see him back.

I agree. It seems to have escalated from a token pantomime boo to all out jeering and it was over the top last night. I wondered if Gordon Ramsay’s loud voice was contributing to it!
I think most of Craig’s comments were fair and justified.

Rose has been on the news and Johannes joined John for his day job on Channel 4 this week.
They all get additional publicity.
I don’t watch it, I did think it unfair when the young girl who is
deaf was shown on the BBC news dancing without music playing so the public could understand how difficult it was for
her.

I agree Sparklefizz, without checking back over the VT, when Craig gets the barracking he seems to give his dagger looks across to that side of the dance floor where the dancers sit.

I'm not sure about that Grannynannywanny as Gordon hasn't been there for half the performances. He was over in America at his restaurant for a while, yet the noise still happened.
