Thanks Jane, very interesting articles. I remember how angry I felt for Dian Fossey's family following the film 'Gorillas in the Mist' - sometimes artistic license is stretched too far.

I enjoyed it too but my friends who are black absolutely HATE IT because it all white perspective and not particularly accurate

It was on tv last night but I decided to watch a dvd instead. Having said that, having watched a few minutes of it I realised it’s the sort of film I can watch several times and still enjoy it.

Yes this was a very good film. DH and I have very different tastes but we both enjoyed it very much.

An excellent film. I'm thinking of watching it again.
It's on iPlayer now.

ha ha I've just put the tv on and it's on BBC2 - I paid £3.49!
