What do others think of this pair . Personally I find them annoying , their constant braying on being hard done by as far as "This Morning" is concerned . I haven't watched the show for many years , so perhaps they have a valid gripe. Again today both of them appearing in the media with tight lips standing next to Phillip Scourfield ( again I am not a fan, ) after the show won an award last night. They come across as being bitter. Also their constant bickering on screen seems to be reported constantly in the press.

I like them.

Me too, Holly & Phil are like stupid kids

*Am I the only one to notice that the final part where Eamonn strides out shows that he is wearing underpants (or none) which allow his penis to hang down his trouser leg - ugh!*

Good grief! I'd not seen this. I must away to Youtube to check

Just checked. Didn't see a thing

That's just showing off! It reminded me of the past when Eric Clapton used to appear on stage with a length of hosepipe in his trousers.

I don’t normally watch Loose Women, which is sometimes presented by Ruth. I meant to check it today in case one of the topics up for discussion was this thread about Eamonn’s appendage ?

well if it's not a fold in his trousers, lets hope he doesn't decide to do any viagra commercials

I feel like I need to lie in a dark room

The image is darker on YouTube. If you want to see more clearly (and who would?) it is visible on the TV screen! smile

Well I watched the ad on Youtube - quite a few times - and can't decide if it's as has been said blush or a fold in his baggy trousers. Surely it's someone's job when the ad is made to check for things like that? hmm

henetha Sun 12-Sep-21 12:01:50

Oh yes, FannyCornforth. I loved Richard and Judy too.

Perhaps it is more about the photos / article I read on Mail online ( my DD tells me I should not read that "newspaper" ) but it is free , ha ha . Yes I have seen the advert for the foot machine, in fact my husband has used one daily for a few years due to on going health problems, I wish he could walk as fast after using it. Ian Botham used to advertise them before. As I said I don't watch the programme but sometimes there are so many articles online that you don't need to watch a show to know what's happening. I liked Ruth until a few years ago, I even researched her clothes line looking for a dress for my DD wedding as I liked her style. It just lately they grate so probably is over publicity. Nice to hear your comments. Take care everyone.

Shysal, I wish you hadn't told us that! I hate that stilted advert too.

Grannynannywanny Sat 11-Sep-21 11:51:49

In light of what Shysal has noticed we might next see him on an ad for supportive underwear. Like the boxers regularly advertised that boast a comfort fit pouch and super glide panels to eliminate thigh rub ?

BlueBelle Sat 11-Sep-21 11:38:13

I don’t watch any of those couple TV stuff it all annoys me I feel very curmudgeonly but I don’t like Eamon, Ruth, Phil or Holly
The advert mentioned sickens me but I haven’t noticed any ‘extras’ now I ve got to look !! Shysal what have you started

JaneJudge Sat 11-Sep-21 11:37:45

Is this a dreams v reality thing?

Millie22 Sat 11-Sep-21 11:35:29

I've just looked on YouTube as well. Nothing that I can see I think he's wearing baggy trousers that's all.

Trisha57 Sat 11-Sep-21 11:31:21

Zoejory I just had a look at the advert on Youtube as well. Unfortunately the sun is shining on my screen and I couldn't see properly. I'll have another look this evening!!!!

Namsnanny Sat 11-Sep-21 11:22:46

I just hate my tv viewing being overtaken by a silly over inflated show about over inflated tv personalities.

Sago Sat 11-Sep-21 11:08:54

I would rather stick pins in my eyes than watch that awful couple.
I hate daytime TV and cannot understand how anyone could start the day with Lorraine,Phil and Holly or the smug Ruth and Eamonn.

JaneJudge Sat 11-Sep-21 11:04:24

He looked old at the TV awards that were on, though he quite suited a walking stick I thought smile I suppose I haven't watched this morning much.

We bought my MIL one of those machines. I hadn't realised how expensive they were! She has never used it hmm

I don’t watch this daytime stuff, but sure it was Emmon Holmes who once did a documentary on alcoholism, as I think he’s an alcoholic.

He did it very well, and there were a few shots of his wife, as parts were filmed in his home. They seemed normal enough I suppose, but then the content was interesting, unlike what I’ve sometimes stumbled upon accidentally, the drivel of the daytime program.

Adrian Chiles did a program about alcoholism, I wondered if you may have got mixed up. Apologies if not smile

This Morning is nothing like the halcyon days of Richard and Judy, is it.

I’ve posted this before on here; but remember when some bloke took viagra on air, went to a hotel with the missus, and then they returned to tell an over excited Richard all about it?!

You are right Fanny, my mistake. That means I don’t know the couple this thread is talking about....so will slink quietly away! ?

trisher Sat 11-Sep-21 10:24:11

Can't stand any of them so rarely watch it. They all appear to be making huge amounts on the side from advertising.

I prefer them to Phil and Holly. But was disappointed yesterday to see they’ve joined in the mug a gullible granny mid afternoon advertising slot.

It went something like this..
R..let’s go for a walk
E..oh I’d love to but my legs are so sore.
R..you need to try my silly electrical stimulating foot machine. Just place your feet on it and this amazing £300 machine will make a new man of you.

Fast forward a few minutes and they are striding through the park and Eamonn overtakes Ruth.

That advert really annoys me! Am I the only one to notice that the final part where Eamonn strides out shows that he is wearing underpants (or none) which allow his penis to hang down his trouser leg - ugh!

I hate the bickering and Eamonn 'putting his foot in it' regularly.
