I'm not a huge fan of Martin Clunes but I think he has been very convincing in this role.

I had no idea about the huge effort that was made to finally capture Delroy Grant. I think MC's character did a fantastic job - but how shocking that this man could have been picked up several years before if the proper leads had been followed.

I think Vigil is quite good - but is wearing a bit thin now - but Night Stalker was brilliant.

Trouble is, I AM alone, my daughter is in hospital, so it`s just me and Billy I`m OK till I have to go to bed. But it`s unmissable viewing, so I`ll be there, watching.

Yes I’m not sure I’d watch it if I was alone!

I abandoned Vigil after first episode. The Night Stalker has become quite gripping. Tension ramped up last night. The scene where that poor lady knew someone was in her house and phoned the police had me holding my breath while his footsteps were getting closer. I practically jumped off the chair when he barged into her bedroom. I won't be missing it tonight but it's not for the fainthearted.

My neighbour has watched this and it really scared her. I intend to watch it though.

It really is a brilliant drama, just watched the last but one and now must see the final part later tonight.
As you say, so much better than the awful Vigil.good acting, good dialogue and so realistic that you feel they really are a police team.

Oh apologies that I hadn’t noticed there was already a thread.
I guess I was looking for The Night Stalker rather than Manhunt.

Yes we double check that we’ve locked up properly before we go to bed!

Brilliant but I will also be double checking doors and windows for the foreseeable ?

Grannyben Thu 23-Sept-21 18:35:21

I wish I hadn't watched it, I've never checked my doors and windows so many times

Looking forward to tonight's epusode.

Already a thread running headed Manhunt.
I'm watching this true story unfold.

I think this is an excellent programme, and it is so interesting to see the Met (with Martin Clunes playing the investigating DCI) very cleverly closing in on a serial rapist.

In my opinion it’s heaps better than Vigil.

The final episode is tonight.
