Question Time- Fiona puts her big foot right in it!

Did you hear her clearly say that the audience had more Brexiters in it than Remainers?

Admiting, of her own free will, what many of us have suspected and complained about, that QT audiences have not been selected to be balanced, as they are supposed to be.

Mind you, her other point was that despite the audience being a majority for Brexit, there was not a single person prepared to stand up for the Government in this latest crisis (shortage of HGV drivers leading to shortage of petrol and many other goods).

When QT came to our town some friends of ours were in the audience and they said they were selected after detailed questioning.

I stopped watching it years ago as it was so obvious that it was fixed

‘QT - More audience participation than the Rocky Horror Show’
One of my favourite quotes.
From Ian Collins

I’m a (proud) Brexiteer. But who watches this nonsense any more? I remember the days when QT was brilliant. Now? Not so much (yet I’m supposedly the group most represented - well tonight maybe as a ‘one off’ haha!).

Maybe that why Ms. Bruce actually flagged it up? ‘See how fair we are’.

Well more people did vote for Brexit than to Remain, so to be representative.....

Well have a second vote now - and then adjust the audience, I say!

You’ll like this ( not a lot) as it confirms everything we knew.

Och, I'm having a fine time tonight.

The Press Gazette's report is based on work by News-Watch who are, let's say, not entirely unbiassed when it comes to the BBC. Their "principal" is David Keighley who has been compiling an archive of what he describes as BBC Bias since 2014 and seems to be slightly to the right of Atilla the Hun. Also, the article you link to dates from 2017.

As Victor Meldrew might have said I dont beleeeve it smile

We applied for tickets and had to complete a quite rigorous questionnaire but were not selected.
We were even asked what question we would ask if chosen.
I wax disappointed, it was filmed just down the road.
