That was really interesting. And good fun too! Can anyone explain to me though why so many Americans didn’t seem to like her and, what’s even more puzzling, why so many women voted for Trump and not her?

It was excellent wasn’t it? They genuinely hit it off and as far as I was concerned they could easily have gone on for another half.
Thanks to Hillary’s recommendation I have now started on the Jacqueline Winspear’s “Maisie Dobbs” series - brilliant and loads to come smile

They certainly looked as though they were genuinely enjoying themselves.
She’s clearly an intelligent, able and caring person so what is it about the US that chose someone like Trump.
