Tbh I find her irritating, and a tad up herself. But you can’t have everything?. The scenery is glorious and I can “smell” Provence as I watch each scene.

Caught up with this last night. Wonderful scenery and interesting ‘visits’.

Carol does rather a lot of name dropping though which I thought unnecessary.

Mind you apart from one other place in the world that we have holidayed in I have never seen such huge bugs of all sorts????

I saw Richard's show too Josianne. It was wonderful.

It is one of my favourite places too. The light!

Richard E Grant did an amazing programme (BBC I
think) following the artists who painted there, including Cézanne, Monet, Renoir and Matisse.

I love Provence. We have spent such lovely times there.

I really enjoyed the programme. France looked its beautiful best and Carol was very good company. I enjoyed her relationship with her husband. They seem very happy and the show made me smile.

Disappointing programme. A bit too luvvy duvvy for me at times, but the olive growing was interesting.

I loved Carol Drinkwater's books, and will be watching in channel 5.
I also loved the original year in Provence books.
Just a feelgood programme, i hope
