Never lit my fire, but he comes across well in interviews, unlike many pretentious American stars.
Only time I fancied him was when he played Clark Gable, Now that’s a different story?
Good job we all have different tastes.

I do like him but I wouldn’t climb over my OH to get to him…

…well only if OH was fast asleep

It's not just his looks for me, - although he is rather gorgeous!
But he comes over as such a nice person. Grounded and normal and pleasant in spite of his fame. I really like him.

Deedaa yes yes..that shot of him carrying the boy in that very rainy/stormy episode imprinted on my mind.?

DD and I were never that taken with him in ER until the day Dr Ross saved the little boy in the storm drain. He walked out of the drain carrying the little boy and we were lost!

Yes, I saw that delightful interview. He was talking about the new film release of which he was director. I certainly plan to see it as the subject matter sounds wonderfully loving and caring. He said he thought the world was ready for a bit of kindness and gentleness. I so agree with that sentiment.

I agree, he was talking about his time spent with some rather wonderful ladies at a port town in England, and in honour of that kind and gentle time, the new movie is called ‘The Argy Bargy’......can’t wait to see it!

I still remember when he was “dying “in the ER series - such good writing !

Can’t stand him

I still think he’s planning to run for the Presidency one day.

I first remember GC in Roseanne, and didn’t find him at all attractive. He has definitely “grown into his looks”. I’ve enjoyed most of his films over the years, both the serious and the more light-hearted.
Chrissyoh - ditto, Mark Greene was lovely.
Blossoming - also ditto, having said that HC is a good looking man by anyone’s standards.

I'm very fond of George. He is a silver fox and has gorgeous eyes. I saw him first in an episode of Murder she wrote then in E R and I have followed him (not literally- that would be creepy) ever since.

Me neither - give me Dr Green any day !

Blossoming Mon 11-Oct-21 16:30:48

I have enjoyed many of his films but not really a Clooney fan. Never saw the attraction myself, though I think he is aging well and always looks groomed and well dressed.

Then again, I prefer The Witcher to Superman, so maybe it’s just me grin

Yes, it certainly was a delightful interview. GC was promoting his new film which I certainly hope to see as it sounds gentle, loving and caring. He said he thought the world was in need of a little kindness. I so agree with that sentiment

He was interviewed on The Andrew Marr Show yesterday partly about a film he has directed, due out soon; it’s available on BBC iPlayer at about 38 minutes.

Bea65 Mon 11-Oct-21 15:03:06

This man looks better and better ..loved him in ER...and he commented on news channel that his lovely wife is always dressed for Breakfast!!
