Couldn’t agree more Bluebelle. It would be lovely to see some up and coming talent producing so me of these shows.
Probably not showing their mansions this early in their career but certainly travelling to new places or sitting chatting with interesting people like nurses or social workers or refuse collectors. Real people.

I expect the TV programme pay towards the work that is being done.

I really like Prue Leith but like another poster said I m up to my eyebrows in celebrities finding something to have a show about really makes me cross as there are so many struggling ‘celebrities to be’ actors etc that it really grates on me when the same, ole same ole, famous few dominate

I stopped watching this after the second episode, when it became obvious they have a bottomless pit of money. Totally unrelatable to anything us real folk have to endure.

I have just started watching episode 2, couldn't find one. Wasn't sure before hand, but I am thorough enjoying it. Loved her visit to Sarah Raven.

The poor old flowers on the roof are not happy with that wind. Need some seaside shrubs like tamarix.

I agree it's not the most beautiful house, but love her choice of colours.

Missed this and after reading all your comments thought I would watch on "catch up" but only Episode 3 is available on C4, thought this was a bit odd as usually you can watch all episodes when a series is still on. Not sure I want to watch only 3 & 4.

I think you will find it is worth watching only 3 & 4, you will just see the planting a bit further on, when they look better.

I have metal troughs in my garden, I love them. They are perfect for growing herbs and vegetables.

Sorry NOT watching it as I am fed up with so called
" celebrities" doing things that are not their own field of expertise with lots of money (or earning lots of money from) doing these things. Though must say I absolutely enjoyed Jeremy Clarkson's 'Diddly Squat' but hated Top Gear. I suppose what I am saying is 'each to their own'.

I do not like the metal troughs, why not have wooden, large, raised beds? We have had 2 put in, known as the 'Allotment'!!!

? I agree, her jewellery should have its own show, loved the way her husband has designed the trees to display, very inventive.

I always thought they lived in separate houses? Must be thinking of someone else.

I think they have just moved into this new house after keeping separate homes.

It's such an enjoyable show and Prue and her husband are great company. Their gardener is entertaining too. I like the house....it seems full of space and light with views everywhere onto the magnificent garden they're creating. When the garden has matured I think the building will sit in it beautifully. They adore it and I suppose that's all that matters.

Prue's jewellery collection was a thing of wonder and deserves a show all to itself!!!

I love all of it and her enthusiasm for all of her new home and garden; her and her husband are so easy to watch.

Throwing money at a garden is not necessarily productive ! And that is the ugliest house I have seen in a long time !
I like Prue and am disappointed

Anyone watching this, More4 Wednesdays 9pm, Prue Leith and her husband throwing enormous amounts of money at an amazing space in the Cotswolds, enhanced by visiting specialist gardens. Sunshine, trees, shrubs and flowers and their amazing full of colour home, a delightful watch in these darkening evenings.
