The Colour Purple - a brilliant film that has me going through a myriad of emotions. Has me in floods of tears at the end.

I can't remember which actress it was who was asked it ET made her cry.
"Oh no, dear, I cant get sentimental about something that looks like a hoover pipe" was her reply.

Petula Clarke/Peter O' Toole version of Goodbye Mr Chips cripples me every time. Still love the relationship they had though and regularly punish myself with the video.

I thought Terms of Endearment was extremely sad and I did cry.

It's a Wonderful Life with James Stuart, I watch it every Christmas & It still makes me cry every Christmas. just love this old film.

My daughter used to tell me I had ice cubes in my veins when I laughed at her my my mum for crying at 'surprise, surprise'.

MissA I forgot about Goodnight Mr.Tom I have watched it this week, yes I cried. Also Goodbye Mr. Chips (the Martin Clunes) version.
