The series certainly became more and more about the boys - I loved it!

Sarnia

Lovely series. I usually watch Sarah Beeny's programmes. I noticed the pub was full of girls when The Entitles Sons performed. Can't think why! wink

Yes, I noticed that too!

I'm sorry to see this has finished now, but pleased for the family! I'm sure the project was pretty stressful, but the end result was very good. It wouldn't have been my choice of kitchen, colour wise, but I loved the utility room.
Those boys are something else! From nursing tiny ducklings to their classy Music Room and then tying the wakeboard to the car bumper at full pelt! Their concert in the pub was superb.
As an aside the name of their band was great. I think they should come on GN to explain the true meaning to some --narrow minded== GNs.

I wonder what Sarah's next filming project will bei

I think the idea of a natural swimming pool is wonderful.
It still provides a natural habitat and is a far better alternative to an energy and chemical guzzling swimming pool.

I do enjoy the programme and the boys are very engaging. I loved what they had chosen for their bedrooms. How lovely to have a store of wonderful furniture to choose from.

What I didn't understand was having been to considerable expense to build a natural pond for wildlife and flowers why you would have a great lump of a person crashing into it on a zip wire disturbing all the flora and fauna?

Shysal The family wanted to create a beautiful stately home for future generations.

Rise Hall was my Alma Mater, the family were well received here in E.Yorkshire they used local tradespeople and integrated into the community although they were not here so often.

Rise is a perfect wedding venue and is doing very well under new ownership.

As I understand it their new venture is not to be commercial just a beautiful family home.

I’m enjoying this series. They come across as a lovely family. I was surprised at the style chosen by the boys for their bedrooms. The grand 4 poster bed and drapes for a 12 year was a bit OTT. But I suppose if they can afford it then why not.

I wonder if they intend it as a wedding venue like their previous venture Rise Hall. I enjoyed following their progress in that series a few years back. I think they sold it in 2019. Well timed just before the arrival of the pandemic.

Heartbreakers, all four of them. I like Sarah Beeny. Her décor wouldn't be my choice but what they have done so far looks spectacular.

Last night’s made me smile when Sarah Beeny stalled the car, after some banter her husband ran into something in his ?

The boys seem to be given more and more coverage as the programme moves on. I guess they are growing in confidence in front of the camera, without being in any way precocious. The second one was really talented playing the piano, he is my favourite as the more creative soul. Lovely family, lovely mum and dad and nice doggies!
I love the series.

It certainly seems Idyllic, although the cameras will have chosen carefully curated moments. They do appear to be really well grounded boys. I enjoyed the zip line part, and that Sarah took part too

Anybody watching the family's New Life in the Country? I don't really understand their need for such a grand house, but I love watching the 4 boys and their escapades. What a wonderful relaxed outdoor life they have, full of all the activities loved by boys. I wish my childhood and that of my children and GCs could have been the same. We spent a lot of time outside but without their opportunities.
I shall be sorry when the series ends.
