Anyone watching this new drama?

I’m a bit underwhelmed so far, but will probably liven up.

I’ve just binge watched this over the weekend. After a slow start, it took off. Loved it. Roll on season 2….

Binge watching now because after first two episodes I was bored.
My DD said “Keep going Mum”.
Up to episode 5 now and yes, it gets better.

Well, I enjoyed this. Kept me guessing right to the end. I am looking forward to the next series due out next year.

Greyduster Sun 27-Feb-22 15:59:28

I am, against my better judgement. It’s still a load of unbelievable rubbish?!

Calendargirl Sun 27-Feb-22 11:16:04

Anyone still watching? I gave up after episode 2, but see in my TV guide it’s the final episode tonight.

Charleygirl5 Mon 14-Feb-22 09:21:31

I am enjoying it now. Yes, there are holes in it but it is not Rl. It keeps me entertained for an hour.

I will not say how it ended last night in case anybody wants to catch up but I think it dawned on Billy he was being used.

I wondered if Lara's brother was involved in all this. He was friendly with one of them but was unaware of what they were doing. I think the group were using him, perhaps because of Lara. She is sure John is heavily involved but I wonder if his A-Z which has the previous bomb sites marked is in retrospect rather than planning.

Yes, I remember it, and there was far more build up of tension.
I can't remember what happened at the end of last week's episode.

UXB was one complete story each week so perhaps they had to ratch up the tension for an hour's tv.

Does anyone remember from many years ago, the programme UXB?

Chardy Mon 07-Feb-22 11:05:31

It's watchable, the tension is building slowly.

Charleygirl5 Mon 07-Feb-22 10:02:03

Sarnia I also enjoyed it last night. I picked it up after the 1st break because I abandoned Chloe. There are still huge holes in it but I am looking forward to next week after last night's ending.

I must be in the minority but I am enjoying this. Can't wait for next week.

I’m still watching Trigger Point it was full of action but I’m getting a bit tired of the whole thing revolving round Lana. No one else gets a look in when there’s a bomb to disable she’s in like flint lol. I’ll probably keep watching in hope it improves.

Calendargirl Mon 07-Feb-22 07:09:18

Watched ‘Chloe’ instead of this. What was last night’s like, is it worth catching up, or should I abandon it?

Another load of rubbish. How disappointing after Line of Duty.

Callistemon21 Sun 30-Jan-22 22:57:05

Or rather sad

Callistemon21 Sun 30-Jan-22 22:56:52

I was doing Wordle Unlimited at the same time. DH wanted to watch it but I only wanted to watch Adrian Lester - no point now ?

Gwyneth Sun 30-Jan-22 22:53:46

Exactly Callistemon21 and tearing at the bottom of the door when the nail bomb had a mercury trigger. I would imagine after losing a colleague in such awful circumstances she would have had a prolonged de-brief and time off. I’ll probably watch next week so I can moan about it. ??

Callistemon21 Sun 30-Jan-22 22:45:41

Gwyneth

‘Wash’ was so drunk she could hardly stand. Would she really be de-fusing bombs the next day? I just find it implausible.

She would have had the hangover from hell and was probably still over the drink driving limit.

Also don’t know how Nut’s funeral was able to take place less than a week after he was blown up. Round here it takes about a month to get one organised.

MiniMoon Sun 30-Jan-22 21:41:10

I'm half watching it. I am decidedly underwhelmed!

Is it slow, or is it just me?

Calendargirl Sun 30-Jan-22 21:35:29

Well, the second episode is still not drawing me in. And ‘Wash’s’ silly hairstyle…
