I can recommend Sophie on Netflix. A docu-drama set in Ireland. Very good.

The Promise, BBC 4, French detective story. Gripping.

We really enjoyed Annie with an E it,s not really for children as some may think . Filmed in Canada where the author of Anne of Green Gables came from.

Recently came across ‘ Bodies’ on bbciplayer. It’s an early Jed mercurio production with Keith Allen, Patrick baladi, Max beesley. Medical cover up drama. Very very good. Also opportunities for sightings of max beesleys bottom. 2 series, never made a 3rd but should have.

Also ‘the cockfields’ (postman pat & kath from afterlife in it along with sue Johnston) observational comedy.

Max Beesleys what?! How rude. You must be old enough to be his mum of not gran! Flip it? Your DH saying he can't wait to see Vicky McClure's bare behind? Well out of order!

Just watching the amazing series BULGASAL NETFLIX. Again s.korean but each episode is like a movie, amazing production.fantastic actors too, much outclass the usual Hollywood pap paraded out each season!

Just watched The Courier on Prime with Benedict Cumberbatch just class! Tru story heartbreaking sterling performances.
And absolutely WATCH "ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING" with Steve Martin Martin Short and Selena Gomez! With some guest appearances STING being one! On DISNEY If you like excellent true comedy , not usual rubbish peeled from USA then this is THE one! Hilarious perfection of comic timing and whodunnit genre .Talent in absolute bucket loads from Ms Gomez too! Can't wait for next series pleeeease!

I've been watching One of Us is Lying on Netflix but I got a bit bored with it near the end of the first series. They drag things put so much. Harlen Coben stuffs good. Its all in England.

I'm currently enjoying Sandi Toxvig taking her individual friends on semi exotic trips. Good fun and some interesting hideaway properties in stunning locations. No violence. All joy. My current viewing criteria. I'll also have a look in at Jane McDonald tonight. Thanks for that reminder.

We absolutely loved the Upside film on Prime. Very uplifting, and you can even watch it with grandchildren. Our two sets both loved it, ages between 15 and nine. Surprisingly funny.

KOMINSKY METHOD with Michael Douglas, very funny

I so enjoyed Motherland - the school gate mix of mothers (and the one father) the friendly, the snooty, the frantic, all were there. Trying to do it all - how well many of us can empathise with that unhappy situation.

Tinder Swindler and The Puppet Master. Both on Netflix.

We've just enjoyed Raising Dion. Just love, love, love Esperanza who is a little girl with brittle bone disease. Also love the protagonist, Dion, who is The Cutest little black kid (about 7ish). These kids are amazing actors.
It is not a series for young children, I should add.
Science fiction but not too techy and all set on Earth.

We really enjoyed Still Game, we also love Two Doors Down also Scottish.
I really like Motherland on Netflix. We are comedy people. DH has just watched Red Notice on Netflix I think. I could hear him laughing so he must have enjoyed it.

Check that there are episodes of Still Game you might not have seen as perhaps they were a limited number when you watched them. I think Netflix has gone right back to the very beginning.
