I hadn’t thought of flashbacks Doodledog. You're probably right. It did seem odd at the time not to show what happened. I’d say this storyline will run for a while yet.

You didn’t miss anything Doodledog. It went straight to the car already crashed into the building.

I was fighting with my knitting though a lot of the second half of last night's episode so didn't see what led up to the car crash (although it was on and I could hear it).

Imran had had a drink, so Toyah said she would drive from the police station to somewhere where they could talk. Then the action cut to something else, and the next thing I knew was the crash. Did I miss anything, or was that what happened?

I wonder if it was Kevin/ Abi’s sabotaging the car which caused the accident….?

Serendipity22 mentions Sean turning his head ready for his exit but I have noticed some silly, flouncing exits from other members of the cast too. I wondered if there was perhaps a new director issuing daft instructions.

The 1 person I noticed that spun round so quick to mimic Sean, was Daisy. I thought what the heck!

The actor who played Damon went on to host building/property development programmes, so you might have seen him on those.

Yes, Evelyn is like a character from the Corrie of Old. She's a replacement for Blanche, who had some excellent lines although few plot lines of her own. I heard that Maureen Lipman is leaving too, to do something on stage. With luck, she will come back when whatever it is finishes its run.

Regarding Sean, I was getting a bit fed up of his 3 worded lines and turning his head with such speed it almost spun off his shoulders!

Kevin looks more like a character from Planet of the Apes as time goes by, IMO . I agree that no mechanic would have nails like Abi's, and I doubt that many druggies/alcoholics/sometime rough sleepers would look as good as she does either.

It's a shame that Imran has descended from all-round good guy to cheating lying ratbag. He has such lovely eyes, and it would have been good to have him around for a few more years. I'm assuming he will get his comeuppance soon and be written out?

Is 'Our Damon' from Brookside going to be Sean's new love interest? At this stage they don't seem very well suited, but there's time for the character to develop.

I don't know where the Summer storyline is going. Are they trying to deal with Diabetes or eating disorders? I'm not sure that mixing them up is for the best - or not if they are hoping to help young people. I know that it can be difficult to lose weight if you are insulin dependent, particularly for young people who usually stay slim because of their metabolism; but is showing bulimia as a way of dealing with it likely to give them ideas? Maybe I'm not crediting young viewers with enough sense.

Finally, does anyone know what Fiz's Phil is up to? There does seem to be A Plan behind his courtship of Fiz.

I wrecked my brains to think where I have seen the chap with Shaun before.... I didn't watch Brookeside so he must have been on something else... yes, I agree with you on them being unsuited, he seems too old and not the type that Sean would go for at all....

Hmmm yes, the Fiz and Phil saga, his character seems too mild manered to be another John Snape storyline but there is certainly something about him and its evident that Fiz and Tyrone are still in 'love'.

Regarding Abi, I heard that she is coning out of Corrie !!! As for her nails, ABSOLUTELY, they are more suited for The Housewives of Oldham !!!!

Calendargirl I agree about Abi's nails, but think it odd as she is a mechanic.

Kevin needs to do something with his beard that seems to be down his neck and back.

And throughout all her traumas, Abi’s nails always look immaculate.
