Ever since he retired, dh has been keen on brushing up his O level French, so is keen on French films. This was recommended by someone at one of his conversation groups.
It’s about a rich Parisian quadriplegic who hires a supposed ne’er-do-well, a ‘person of colour’, as his carer.
I didn’t fancy it a bit - it sounded very depressing, but in fact was anything but - I really enjoyed it.
Apparently a true story.
Highly recommended if you don’t mind subtitles, or if your French is good enough!
