I've been watching old re-runs if this and enjoying them. But am I the only one who oftenprefers the before to the after rooms?

I love these interior design shows ? Sadly MrA doesn't, so I watch them on catchup. Yes, sometimes I wonder just why they bothered in the first place. But I only watch them for tips, really. I rarely like the end result of a whole room but there is usually something interesting in it. Also they help me work out colour schemes, something I'm not very good at. I'm watching Interior Design Masters too.

Yes, totally agree.

I love design shows. Although some of the designs I am sure are not done with much thought for the poor people having to live with them after the cameras have left.

The recent revival of Changing Rooms had some horrendous designs - totally impractical in some cases. A swing in the living room anybody !!

Vintage did you realise that the new series has started? It’s on BBC1 on Wednesday nights.

Yes, I love the reruns too. It was a super programme , I loved the work of Sarah Moore from Money for Nothing and Anne Curtis , she had already been on Grand Designs years ago converting a pump station ? Both still designing !

The current series and the one before are more interesting to me than the original series in which all the challenges were in very upmarket homes, some in conservation areas. I’m impressed by the one contestant in the current series who designs her own wallpaper.

No I didn't. Thanks for that.
