Amazon prime

There are a few good things. I find it's worth paying for because since the pandemic I order a lot of my health store foods through Amazon and get speedy and free postage, so I feel I get my money's worth.

I have prime as I can order something and get it the next day. Delivery charge is in the subscription.
Also some good films on prime.

No longer use Amazon because of their unethical labour practices.

You still have to pay for Prime films, though. Or at least some of them - any we’ve wanted have not been free. I was a mite hacked off when I realised that they weren’t covered by your Prime sub.

Just cancelled mine. Some delivery costs are not covered by prime.

I have Prime. Just paid £4.99 to watch Belfast last night, I don't want to go to the cinema anymore and they do get the popular films fairly quickly.

The subs for Prime include another channel called "freevee" This has a very good Swedish detective show called "Beck". Also a number of old films, all free.

It really depended on your tastes. There is a fair bit of overlap with Netflix and other apps. Amazon has a lot of content described as free to me which is covered by your monthly sub. As with all apps, best to try a free trial period and see if you like it.

I agree Shandy57, it's a good alternative to going to the cinema post-Covid or whatever reasons you have for not wanting to go anymore. Apps such as BFI and Curzon are good for contemporary film too especially indie and smaller budget productions.

We have both, DH and I have differing film tastes, but I prefer Netflix.

Yes, you can. we are not watching the new series yet, are currently on series 6 brilliant!
