Minimoon I didnt recall that ‘hit’ of Cliff’s either! Back then I think I probably disregarded this programme as I was more into the emergence of Punk Rock at the time!
I remember though that Val Doonican, who’s just sung ‘Walk Tall’ was a great favourite of my Mum and her sister!

This is a blast from the past.
I was 25 in 1977, and was a huge Cliff Richard fan, but I can honestly say that I do not remember his "latest hit."
Vera Lynn was my DH's favourite singer. I've always told him he was born too late!

It’s recorded.

From 1977- I was only 18 at the time so missed it first time around. Some interesting acts on inc Dame Vera Lynn and just now, Kenny Ball. Worth a watch I think.
