Totally agree, the previous series is well worth watching.

I thought it was a fascinating programme. The portrait was probably one of the kindest ones I've seen by this artist. I find his work very odd. It is realistic in a distorted way. I'm pleased to see ordinary people getting their portrait painted. Thanks for the link I didn't see the previous programmes

I loved the previous series so was pleased to see another starting. It is worth watching the old ones if they are on the iplayer.

I had not known of that, but thanks to Jaxjacky posting about the programme here, I have found that it is available on BBC iplayer.

The painted portrait was wonderful, i found the painter was very sympathetic to Harriet even though he said he never painted people smiling and clearly knew nothing about knitting.
The finished portrait is donated to the Shetland Museum so Harriets story can be told for generations.

Fascinating and engaging, a pleasure to watch this lady Harriet with the artist Stuart.
