Quite inspirational, not sure I’d be as patient, some of the youngsters now have a focus ?

We are watching part 2 and loving it. And isn't Freddie Flintoff lovely?

I watched part 1 last week with GS1 and found it very moving and heartwarming. I also thought it might be a eye opener for GS who, through no fault of his own has a pretty privileged lifestyle, cricket, tennis, , rugby, ,skiing holidays etc - a very middle class existence which I am not criticising, but think it is good for him to be aware that an awful lot of people live very different lives.
Freddie Flintoff is lovely too!

I'm watching it and found it odd that none of them had ever heard of Freddie Flintoff. I get they've never played cricket but he's world famous and was never exactly boring and is on TV for all sorts of things. There's lots of sports that hold no interest for me but I still recognise the names and faces of most of the top names. I think he's got the patience of a saint with them tbh but why do they keep turning up every week if all they are going to do is act like idiots. There are a few who are showing promise though and it's lovely to see how encouraging they are of each other. good on you Fred you seem to be achieving what no one else can or has been able to.

Eye opening, lovely to see these young men slowly gain confidence, that will see them into the next chapter of their lives.
What surprised me, was they thought it was a middle class sport.
As far as I know in my area they play, or play a form of Cricket at Junior School level.
It's Rugby Union that's not always pushed in Schools.

Well, not often I’m moved to tears by a TV programme, but.
Job well done by all, thanks Freddie for your massive belief in lads that others had discarded.

Brilliant from all points of view.

What a wonderful programme and achievement by FreddieFlintoff and his “lads” - heartwarming, to put it mildly ???

We watched it last night, brilliant achievement by Freddie and his boys. I wished we had watched the other programmes from the start. I know it's on IPlayer but doesn't seem worth it now we have seen the last one.

Very pleased to read just now that Adnan has been granted asylum in the UK.
